Business Support Manager
Purpose of the Job: The Business Support Manager will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the office and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Oversee the day to day running of the office
Organise and prioritise workloads, delegating administrative duties to appropriate people within the departments during periods of annual leave / absence
Overseeing and managing the administrative team in the Contracts and Commercial departments
Manage and assist the Aftercare team with delivering the best service in the required timeframes and managing KPI’s.
Managing Sales Order Processing, Customer Care, Crane Bookings, Fleet and other adhoc duties
Checking, signing and returning customer order docs, matrix’s, T&C’s, final accounts, and minutes
Ensuring administrative input is accurate and updated
Assisting with IT requirements for the office/contracts
Dealing with general office enquiries and corresponding in a friendly and polite manner
Act as the escalation point for any issues with the department, including dealing with all customer complaints that come in.
Overseeing all health & safety for the office
Oversee the recruitment of new office staff, including induction
Completing regular 1 to 1’s with office staff and annual appraisals
Carrying out return to work meetings
Required skills:
People Management experience would be advantageous
Experience of Office Management
Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel
Highly organised with a willingness to take on responsibilities
Strong time management skills
Excellent communication and numeracy skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good inter-personal skills
