My client is looking for an Internal Account Manager;
To maintain and grow wherever possible the sales from existing customers and provide an efficient service by responding to their enquiries and requests as required using all the resources available.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Customer services
Answering the telephone, dealing with customer’s calls and handling as appropriate. Providing an efficient and quick response to customers verbal and written enquires ie. posting samples or literature, providing prices, offering advice in accordance with the customer service charter.
Working with the Help Desk to ensure an efficient response to customers order queries ie. Delivery dates or non-delivery – arrange ‘Proof Of Delivery’ notes, organise replacement garments.
Working with the Help Desk to ensure complaints are handled quickly and efficiently according to the customer service charter.
Using Internal systems to prioritise workloads for oneself and for others to ensure action is taken in a timely manner.
Liaising with colleagues in all Departments within the business to ensure all the tasks are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
Sales
Ensuring all customers are contacted by phone at least once a term with a sales focussed call.
Gauging the levels of satisfaction of our products and service amongst the customers and taking the appropriate action.
Using the system to see what products are and are not being ordered and focussing the sales effort accordingly.
Following up all sales leads
Following up a customer’s first order to ensure total satisfaction.
Gaining any relevant information that may identify a good sales/marketing opportunity or assist in gaining new accounts. i.e. new affiliations, referrals.
Covering colleagues work when they are off sick or on holiday.
Helping when necessary handling calls regarding the web ordering service.
Administration
Continually maintaining and updating computer systems, ensuring all data is entered accurately to company’s procedures.
Carrying out the Sales Order Processing function during the quieter periods – input of orders, allocations, raise purchase orders and purchase order receipts.
During the busy periods, liaising with sales order processors regarding any queries
Setting up, with a particularly strong eye for detail, new customer accounts, new products as and when required.
Operating fax, photocopier and printer as required.
Participating and assisting with inputting of data at yearly stock take.
Liaising with senior staff and advising of any problems being experienced.
Being aware of a safe working environment and complying with Health and Safety Regulations.
Any other revelant duties as requested by the Customer Services Supervisor or Sales & Marketing Manager.
